When Turkana County made it in the news in July because of the drought in the region, many Kenyans came together to raise monies to feed their starving brothers and prevent loss of lives as it was initially reported that some residents were on the verge of succumbing to the effects of the drought.
The IFO2 West Refugee camp is made up of 9 sections, which have 66 blocks, with 10,886 residential blocks. Currently, KRCS is providing treatment, nutritional screening and counseling, therapeutic feeding at the refugee camp.
